Congratulations to SMS Alpine student-athlete Eliza Sullivan ’22 for being recognized as our Student of the Week!
Sullivan is the silent, secret weapon of our FIS Women's team. She keeps her nose to the grindstone day in and day out and brings the same level of tenacity to her academics as she does to her training.
One teacher said, “Eliza has quietly been one of the top students in the school for years.”
Another noted, “Eliza consistently completes her work to an exceptionally high and unwavering standard.”
Sullivan’s coaches couldn’t agree more, describing her as an extremely hard worker who tries not to take herself too seriously. “She will laugh at herself at the drop of a hat,” commented one coach.
Sullivan truly solidified her position as a team leader during this year’s fall testing. She won the female beep test overall and tied for fourth place among all alpine athletes.
Sullivan also crushed the box jump record with a score of 72, a record previously held by a Division 1 skier for over five years.
Most importantly, Sullivan is a kind soul who leaves a positive impression on those she meets. She is an excellent representation of what it means to pursue academic and athletic excellence.
