Parents

The purpose of the Stratton Mountain School Parents’ Association (PA) is to foster a positive spirit within the community, promote parent engagement, help orient new families, and promote and support the educational  & athletic goals of Stratton Mountain School. All families are members of the Parents’ Association. We welcome and encourage you to participate in the SMS community.

    All families are members of the Parents' Association and we welcome and encourage your participation.
  • Role of the Executive Board

    The Executive Board:
     
    • fosters a positive spirit within the community and promotes family engagement
    • set annual goals in alignment with the school's mission and objectives
    • develops the PA's annual budget
    • approves expenses
    • establishes and oversees PA committees
    • approves meeting minutes
  • Grade Representatives

    Grade Representatives act as hosts for their respective grades. Two parents from each grade and from different disciplines help with communication among the parent body. This position requires a two-year commitment in order to establish continuity.
