Welcome to SMS

Admissions Welcome
Stratton Mountain School is an exciting place to learn, compete and grow. Our community of students, teachers and coaches work in harmony towards common goals: excellence in college preparatory academics and winter sports, and the development of strong personal values. At SMS, you will find an energized community of about 120-125 students, prospering under a remarkable 4:1 student to faculty ratio. If you see yourself benefiting from and adding to an environment where hard work, commitment and intellectual curiosity are the norm, then we strongly encourage a campus visit. The best time to schedule a visit is during the winter months.

If you are interested in learning more about any of our programs, or if you would like to schedule a visit, please contact Kate Nolan Joyce (802-856-1124). If you would like an admissions packet sent to your home, please click here or click on the link to the right to "Request Information."

Our Application for Admission and Viewbook are available for download (click on the links to the right). For information on the application process, tuition and financial aid, international students, winter term, a typical day at SMS, and more, please click on the links to the left.
