  • Alpine's 2020 Thanksgiving Camp

The Stratton Mountain School Alpine Program is proud to offer a variety of ski racing camps around the world. At SMS ski racing camps, athletes can train on-snow and improve their strength and conditioning.

Our Thanksgiving camp provides an excellent opportunity to establish an early foundation and get a head start on the competition for the upcoming season.  We have daily lane space for gate training, and we will be setting a variety of slalom and GS drill courses and progress to full training courses.  Technical free skiing and drills on the fundamentals round out the curriculum.

With a racer to coach ratio of no more than 7:1, the SMS Thanksgiving camp assures extensive individual attention, and the abundant snowmaking at Copper Mountain guarantees plenty of available terrain. Our on-hill training is supplemented by daily video analysis and tech talks by SMS coaches with guest appearances by US Team members who are training at Copper.
