Jones, Schmid Podium at Ragged Mountain Rail Jam

RAGGED MOUNTAIN—A crew of Stratton Mountain School Freeskiers traveled to New Hampshire’s Ragged Mountain Resort this weekend for a Rail Jam, and both Durham Jones `23 and Xavier Schmid `22 ended the day on the podium.

Jones led the SMS results with a 2nd place finish among the Boys aged 10-13, followed by Peyton Gray `24 in 7th. For the Boys 14 and over it was Schmid who led in 3rd, though Bode Raffa `22 wasn’t far behind and ultimately finished in 4th. Matt Madden `22 claimed 9th, followed by Alex Wasyliko `22 in 13th.
