Caroline Claire Takes 3rd at the Stubai World Cup
Stratton Mountain School Freeskier, Caroline Claire ‘18, finished 3rd in Slopestyle at the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Stubai, Austria on November 26th. She earned a spot in the finals by finishing in 4th place during the qualifiers. Caroline is currently ranked sixth in the world by FIS for Ladies Slopestyle.
“We’re so proud of Caroline on making the podium over in Stubai! It was a very stacked field with some of the best Slopestyle skiers in the world. I can’t wait to watch her compete in the Dew Tour next month in Breckenridge, Colorado,” stated SMS Freeskiing Program Director, Jesse Mallis.
Caroline has been a member of the U.S. Ski Team Rookie Team for the past three years and is the U.S. National Slopestyle Champion. Additionally, she has been invited to compete in her first Dew Tour this season, which is an Olympic qualifier event.
