The Stratton Mountain School Freeskiing program is excited to offer training camps to SMS athletes and invites non-SMS athletes to train with us! The SMS Freeskiing coaches have been running training camps for over a decade and have an awesome line-up with the best places to train in the off-season!

Park City Bag Jump Camp
Date: June 17 – 24, 2018
Location: Utah Olympic Park, Park City, Utah
Ages: 10–18
Focus: Five days of training on the Utah Olympic Park’s sloped Bag Jump. This camp is designed for athletes looking to learn new tricks and practice existing tricks in a safe environment prior to performing them on snow. The Bag Jump at the Utah Olympic Park is one of the most modern airbag installations in the country, with a sloped landing, simulating the angled landing found on snow. It is used by the U.S. Freeskiing Team.
Cost: $1,485 plus airfare
Details: Our camp is open to current SMS athletes and to non-SMS athletes who are competitive freeskiers. The cost includes lodging, ground transportation, lift tickets, access to the BagJump, coaching, and three meals a day while in Park City. Plane tickets are not included in the camp cost. Travel days are June 17th and the June 24th.
Note: Campers registered for the Whistler Camp will travel directly from Park City to Whistler on June 24th.
 
 
Whistler/Blackcomb Camp
Date: June 24 – July 2, 2018
Location: Whistler/Blackcomb, BC, Canada
Ages: 10–18
Focus: Six days of on-snow training on Whistler/Blackcomb using Momentum’s private park. This camp is all about park progression. Momentum’s park has features for all levels and two different size airbag setups. The lap time is quick with many features to ride each run.
Cost: $2,800
Details: This camp is open to current SMS athletes and to non-SMS athletes that are competitive freeskiers. The camp cost includes lodging, ground transportation, lift tickets, access to Momentum’s park, coaching and three meals a day while in Whistler. Plane tickets are not included in the camp cost. Travel days include June 24th and the night of July 1st. Campers will arrive home on July 2nd.

Action Sports Camp: July 16-20, 2018
The Action Sports Camp at Stratton Mountain School is a fun way for athletes who have a passion for on-snow action sports such as snowboarding, freeskiing, and mogul skiing to learn skills. Utilizing the newly-built Air Awareness Center, campers have access to a full-sized foam pit, Ross Trampolines and the Max Air Super Trampoline, as well as the full-size skate park and strength and conditioning space. Campers also participate in group activities such as field games and trips to local swimming holes.

Young Gun Project: Winter 2019
Get a taste of what the Freeskiing Program is all about. Participants train on the snow and in the Air Awareness Center under the guidance of the SMS freeskiing coaches. Ramp up your skills and check out an SMS class during this four-day camp at Stratton Mountain School.
