HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Stratton Mountain School held its first ever Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, June 10, 2022. The event was part of the Community Celebration Weekend commemorating Stratton Mountain School's 50th anniversary. We honored our founding families, The Hellmans and The Tarinellis, as well as five outstanding SMS alumni - Kim Reichhelm '78, Juli Furtado '85, Heidi Voelker '87, Kristin Luckenbill '97, and Ross Powers '97. These alumni inductees are pioneers in their fields of sports, Olympians, and medalists. We are so proud of our inaugural class of 2022!

Alumni Inductees
The Stratton Mountain School Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those individuals who have a superb record of outstanding contributions to their sport, profession, and/or community. To be eligible for the Hall of Fame as an Alumni inductee, a nominee must have been graduated from SMS for at least ten (10) years. In addition, those who spent a Post Graduate year at SMS are eligible for nomination in this category.In all cases, membership in the Hall of Fame is reserved for those nominees with exemplary accomplishments and contributions that were a source of pride for SMS during their time as a student-athlete and/or the time following their graduation from SMS.
The 2023 Hall of Fame Alumni Inductees will be announced at the Winter Ball on January 28, 2023, and celebrated at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on June 10, 2023 as part of our Alumni Day.
Special Inductee
The Stratton Mountain School Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those individuals who have a superb record of outstanding contributions to Stratton Mountain School and may be considered for inclusion in the Hall of Fame as a Special Inductee. These individuals may be teachers, coaches, administrators, or others who have made significant contributions to the SMS community. The 2023 Hall of Fame Special Inductees will be announced at the Winter Ball on January 28, 2023, and celebrated at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on June 10, 2023, as part of our Alumni Day.
Stratton Mountain School
Stratton Mountain School is an independent boarding and day school that focuses on college preparatory academics and competitive winter sports. Located at the base of Stratton Mountain, SMS is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.
