Smith, Lilley, & Reichhelm Qualified for U.S. National Alpine Championships
Stratton Mountain School (SMS) postgraduate athletes, Spencer Smith ‘16 and Austin Lilley ‘16, along with junior Nina Reichhelm ‘18, qualified for 2017 National Alpine Championships in Sugarloaf, Maine.
The championships will be held from March 25th through the 28th and will include a Super-G race, a Slalom race, and a Giant Slalom race. All three athletes qualified for the National Championships through the Eastern Cup.
Additionally, Spencer Smith, Austin Lilley, and SMS postgraduate athlete, Mike Fischer ‘16, qualified for Junior National Championships which will be held in Sugarloaf, Maine later that week.
Stratton Mountain School is an independent boarding and day school that focuses on college preparatory academics and competitive winter sports. Located at the base of Stratton Mountain, SMS serves students in grades 7 – 12.
