Jesse Mallis

Freeskiing Program Director
Keene State College - B.A. 

With more than 30 years of skiing experience, Jesse brings his own personal competition experience combined with all-around knowledge of this fast-growing sport. Prior to coming to SMS, Jesse was the Head Freestyle Coach at Mount Snow Academy, where he worked with a small group of freestyle skiing athletes to provide the highest level of training and coaching. Jesse has coached freeskiing athletes, including Devin Logan (US Freeskiing Team, Winter XGames 2012 Slopestyle Silver Medalist, FIS HP World Cup Champion, 2012 Junior World CHampion in SS), Chris Logan (2011 NorthFace Park and Pipe SS Champion), Parker White (2012 IFF Skier of the Year), Nick Miles, Ian Compton, Brody Leven, Jeremie Veilleux.



Keith Shipman

Freeski Coach
North Country Community College

Keith Shipman is a USSA level 300 certified aerials and freeski coach. He is a 2008 graduate from the North Country Community College, with a degree in Outdoor Recreation Management. Keith brings many valuable assets to the program, including ten years of coaching experience on ramps, trampolines, and on snow - from working with new athletes all the way up to Olympic medalists. He is also a ski technician and sales associate with vast knowledge of the ski industries’ top brands, and has experience as a Head Judge at two USCSA NCAA Freeride National Championships.
